I have. Repeatedly. For twelve years.

My name is Vincent Falcicchio. I’m the founder of 40 North Marketing — and before that, I spent over a decade as the Director of Marketing, HR, and IT for one of the most prominent personal injury law firms in New Jersey.

Not marketing director. Not marketing and a little HR. All three, simultaneously, at a firm that actually held me accountable for results.

That’s not a resume flex. It’s context. Because it means I understand something most consultants never learn: marketing doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It lives inside an organization with hiring pressures, technology constraints, operational chaos, and a leadership team that wants to see ROI — not impressions.


I’ve been on the side of the table you’re on right now.

I’ve sat across from agencies that promised the world and delivered a 12-page “strategy deck” and an invoice.

I’ve hired vendors who talked in circles, reported vanity metrics, and disappeared when results didn’t materialize.

I’ve had to make the call between cutting a marketing budget to hit payroll and finding a smarter way to compete with a fraction of the spend.

So when I tell you I understand the pressure small businesses are under — I’m not performing empathy. I’ve lived it from the inside.


What I actually know

Marketing is the obvious one. Paid search, SEO, social, content, email — I’ve run all of it, managed the budgets, measured the results, and built the systems.

But the range is what makes the difference.

I’ve built and managed technology stacks, overseen IT infrastructure, and integrated new platforms into organizations that had no appetite for disruption. I understand how software gets bought, implemented, and abandoned — and how to avoid that cycle.

I’ve run HR at scale, which means I understand how teams work, how culture affects output, and why the “people side” of a business will either accelerate or kill every marketing initiative you try to run.

And right now, I’m deep in AI — not the hype version, but the practical version. The tools that actually save time, reduce costs, and create leverage for businesses that can’t afford to hire for every function.

What I’m not
